- Compression
- TIFF: Depends on variant → PDF: Depends on variant TIFF: TIFF is not intrinsically lossless or uncompressed. Read the Compression, BitsPerSample and SampleFormat tags; decoder support varies across schemes. PDF: PDF has no single compression quality. Different streams may use lossless or lossy filters; page rasterization can remove document structure even when the resulting pixels are encoded losslessly.
